Daniel Song

Daniel's culinary journey began in Sunnyvale, CA, where he and his sister spent summers watching the Food Network and baking together. After attending culinary school he immersed himself in the world of pastry. The opportunity arose for him to work for the Alinea group in Chicago. There he worked at Next under Dave Beran.
In 2014 Daniel continued to refine his pastry skills with the esteemed Eleven Madison Park group in New York. And in 2017, Daniel ventured to Los Angeles, where he worked as the pastry chef at both Dave Beran's acclaimed restaurants, Dialogue and Pasjoli.
Daniel's desire to blend his classical French training with the flavors of his upbringing served as the inspiration for Songbird.
